01 — Heat sealing
Solvent-based lacquer systems that heat-seal aluminium foil, polyester and laminated film onto rigid containers — no primer required.
Applied to the inner face of the lid film, the lacquer bonds around the rim of PET, PP, PVC, PS and APET containers when heat and pressure meet. It holds through pasteurisation, needs no primer and leaves no surface odour. Typical uses are water, ayran, yoghurt and dairy cups, aluminium lidding foils, coffee capsules, PVC blisters and ready meals. Supplied in 60 kg drums under the NILSEAL HS series, with a 9-month shelf life.

02 — Cold sealing
Water-based latex adhesives that bond to themselves under pressure alone, at ambient temperature. No heat reaches the product.
The adhesive is applied only to the seal areas of the wrapper, on the corona-treated face of opaque, metallised or plain polypropylene, and closes against itself under pressure. Nothing on the line gets hot, so it suits high-speed flow wrap for biscuits, chocolate and confectionery, ice cream and frozen desserts, and medical dressing packs. Supplied in 60 kg drums under the NILSEAL CS series, with a 6-month shelf life.
