This notice explains which personal data Nilkimtek processes through nilkimtek.com and in its business correspondence, why it does so, who can see the data and which rights you have. It is our disclosure notice under Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK). Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, the rights it grants are set out as well.

The path your message takes
Only what you send us through the contact form or your account, the business contact details of companies we work with or approach, and the technical records a website needs to run.
To answer enquiries, send samples and technical documents, manage customer accounts and keep the site secure. We do not profile visitors and we do not sell data.
Authorised Nilkimtek staff and the providers that host our site and e-mail. This site runs no analytics, advertising or social media trackers.
You can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or erased, object to its use and stop business e-mails at any time. We answer within 30 days.

Nilkimtek supplies heat seal lacquers and cold seal adhesives to businesses. This website is addressed to companies and their staff, not to consumers or children.
We process only the data described below. We do not ask for, and do not want to receive, special categories of personal data such as health data.
Your name, company, e-mail address, phone number, the product family you are interested in and your message. The message is delivered to our company mailbox and recorded in our internal customer relationship system, so that the right person can answer it.
If you create an account: your name, company, phone number, e-mail address and password. The password is stored only as a one-way hash, which we cannot read.
The one-time code we send to confirm your address is stored only as a hash, is valid for 15 minutes and stops working after five wrong attempts. The time of the last send and the number of attempts are recorded to prevent abuse.
When we correspond or do business with your company, we keep the company’s details, the names, roles, e-mail addresses and phone numbers of our contact persons, a record of calls, meetings and e-mails, and the documents exchanged, such as quotations, pro forma invoices, technical data sheets and sample requests. Access is limited to authorised staff.
Our hosting infrastructure keeps server access logs: IP address, browser and operating system, the time of the request and the address requested. Repeated failed sign-in attempts are counted per IP address for 15 minutes, so that sign-in can be paused. These records serve security and fault diagnosis only.
To diagnose delivery problems, the site records the recipient address, subject, sender and time of the last 30 e-mails it sent. Message bodies and verification codes are never included, and older entries are discarded automatically.
Nilkimtek sells to businesses. To introduce our products we may write to companies in the packaging and converting sector that have not contacted us first.
We collect your data from you through the contact form, the registration form, e-mail and telephone, and, for business outreach, from public sources, by automated or partly automated means. We make no decision about you by automated means alone.
This site uses only the cookies it needs in order to work. It sets no analytics, advertising or social media cookies.
pll_language: remembers the language you chose (one year).nilkimtek_pending: carries you through the e-mail verification step (20 minutes).You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you do, the language choice and member sign-in may stop working.
The typefaces on this site are loaded from Google Fonts. To deliver them, your browser connects to Google’s servers, which receive your IP address and browser details. According to Google, no cookie is set for this.
The map on our Contact page is only a placeholder until you click it. Google Maps is loaded at that moment, and Google’s own privacy policy applies from then on.
Links to WhatsApp and LinkedIn take you to those services. Nothing is sent to them unless you follow the link.
We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not pass it on for anyone else’s marketing. It is disclosed only to:
Our web server is located in a data centre in Frankfurt, Germany, in the European Union, and our company e-mail is hosted by the same provider. Your data is therefore stored outside Türkiye, and it is accessed by our staff in Istanbul.
Fonts and, at your request, the map are served by Google, which may process the connection data on servers outside both Türkiye and the European Union.
The site is served only over HTTPS. Passwords and verification codes are stored as hashes, and sign-in is paused after repeated failed attempts. Our customer relationship system is closed to the public and open only to authorised staff with personal accounts. Company e-mail is sent through authenticated mail servers.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If a breach affecting your data occurs, we will inform the competent authority and you as the law requires.

Where the GDPR applies you also have the right of access, rectification and erasure, the right to restrict processing, the right to data portability, the right to object to processing based on legitimate interest, and the right to object at any time to the use of your data for direct marketing. You may lodge a complaint with the data protection authority of your country.
Write to admin.it@nilkimtek.com from the e-mail address concerned, or send a signed letter to our postal address, and tell us which right you wish to use. We may ask for the information needed to confirm your identity. We answer within 30 days at the latest and, as a rule, free of charge.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may file a complaint with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Board (Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurulu).
We update this notice when the site or our processing changes. The current version is always on this page, with the date of the last update at the top.
